When kids are killing kids, something must be done. We created the Children's PEACE Center to bring character education, violence prevention and peacemaking skills to children and their families. We feel we must teach prevention to elementary aged children, before there is a need for intervention or rehabilitation. With our current curriculum and our new "Peace Mobile" we provide on-site Field Trips to any youth organization.
Because of school budget cuts many schools have had their
Field Trip money cut, but are still mandated to provide Character
Education. Schools and other Youth Serving groups need this
as well, plus all need conflict management and violence
prevention techniques, which is all provided by our programs.
Thanks to many of your generous donations, our "Peace Mobile"
has been refurbished, exhibits have been custom sized and built
to fit in the space allocated. Only a few more things are needed
to make it a great learning experience for all.
With your donations, we can finish it up and make it road worthy.
We only need $5800 more for outside electrical wiring, a rain awning, canopy over generators and a framework to prevent theft and injuries, tires and equipment for final exhibit on diversity.
All other funds are used for bringing the Peace Mobile to children. We are asking that you join with our fellow Board members by making your most generous gift in support of this project.

Another great way to help is to recycle your cell phones and ink jet cartridges. No cost to you, but helps keep them out of the landfills, makes you feel good to put them to good use (even if they are broken), and helps provide needed funds for the children's programs.
We're also collecting CapriSun drink pouches, Skittles®, Starburst®, M&M’s®, Twix® and Snickers® , or any Mars,candybar wrappers, plus cookie wrappers from Oreos, Nabisco, Chips Ahoy, Fig Newtons, Nutter Butter...any packages large or small. Email or call us and we'll arrange pickup of your items.
